2025 CMSA Nursing Scholarship
The Capital Medical Society Alliance is offering three $1000 scholarships to deserving nursing students from the Big Bend area who will commit to stay and serve in Tallahassee and the Big Bend area. This scholarship and money can assist with ANY costs related to education.

Eligible applicants are invited to apply by March 31, 2025. The FMAA Membership Committee will once again try to raise money for membership efforts. They have opened a virtual storefront with See's candies for people to purchase Valentine's gifts. The storefront is open now and will end on Jan. 31. A portion of the sales will be donated back to the FMAA from See's.

We held our event “Focusing on Cardiovascular Disease: Living a Life of Health” last night. Dr. David Smith and Rhaena Coughlin RN-BSN and health and wellness coach did a fabulous job teaching us about how to better care for our bodies and make healthy choices.

A special thank you to Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare - TMH and Florida Medical Association Alliance for their support and for helping us make this event possible.
