Congratulations to Megan Senda and coauthors on her poster scoring among Division 19's TOP TEN accepted for presentation at the American Psychological Association 2025 conference in Denver, CO. This work is the result of collaborations through the VA TMS program resulting in important insights into treatment effectiveness for some of medicines most difficult to treat conditions such as the neuropsychological trauma from sexual assault.

Congratulations to our medical student, Austin Spitz, for winning the 2024 Young Investigator Travel Award at the National Network of Depression Centers Conference! He presented his work focusing on anxious arousal in participants with dysphoria (i.e., depression, anxiety, PTSD or chronic pain) who went through a sequential treatment of VR guided meditation and accelerated TMS protocols. Importantly, the presence of anxious arousal at baseline was not a significant predictor in clinical outcome.

You can find the link to his paper as well as other works the lab has created on our website: https://med.fsu.edu/kozellab/publications.
