Gaby is one of our dynamic and passionate interns!
Gabriela Tovar is a second-year Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student at Florida State University, on track to graduate in May 2025. With a keen interest in psychological assessments, Gabriela values the opportunity to provide clients with clarity in areas of uncertainty, helping them better understand themselves and their experiences. As a bilingual professional, she plans to further develop her Spanish-speaking counseling skills to serve a more diverse range of clients.

This week we are highlighting Kristin Shiver, MS
Kristin is a Masters Level Counselor and the Office Manager here at BFBH! Born and raised in Florida, she graduated from Capella University with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Kristin's therapeutic approach is founded by CBT, but she likes to use an Integrated Therapeutic Approach that best fits the individual needs of her clients. Kristin has a passion for empowering others and guiding them towards success!

This week we are highlighting Angela Lee, LMHC, CEO
Angela knew from personal and professional experience, that navigating the mental health system is difficult, and she wanted to help others get the help they needed, so she opened Bright Future!
Here, not only does she see her own clients daily...she can also educate other professionals on treating individuals with respect and dignity in our practice. Angela makes sure that everyone at Bright Future Behavioral Health receives person-centered care.

This week we are highlighting one of our Telehealth providers Deborah Mobley, LMHC
Deborah has over 30 years of experience as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and has worked as a Behavioral Health Specialist with children and parents in the child welfare system. After Hurricane Michael hit the Panhandle, Deborah worked with Project Hope to provide Crisis Counseling Services in the shelters and the community. She also helped create a Medication Assisted Treatment Program for individuals struggling with substances.
