Whitney Williams, MSN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with advanced training in comprehensive patient care and a strong foundation in acute and critical care nursing. She is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care with a focus on improving patient outcomes, function, and overall quality of life.

Whitney completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of South Alabama, graduating magna cm laude, and went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of South Alabama. Her clinical education included extensive
experience in family practice, internal medicine, pediatrics, and women’s health, providing her with a well-rounded approach to patient care.

Her professional nursing background includes experience in surgical intensive care, trauma intensive care, and endoscopy, where she developed strong assessment skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to care. Whitney has a particular interest in Pain Management and is dedicated to helping patients improve function, reduce discomfort, and enhance their quality of life through individualized treatment plans and patient education.

In her free time, Whitney enjoys being outdoors, spending time at the beach, and taking long walks with her husband and their golden retriever, Poppy. She also enjoys attending University of South Alabama sporting events and cheering on the Jaguars.

Please allow us to introduce Jamie Centrone, FNP-BC to the USP Family!

Jamie was born in New Jersey where she worked in emergency medical services providing 911 care to the community. She began her nursing career by earning her Associate Degree in Nursing from Gloucester County College. She worked in emergency medicine while earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Wilmington University. After spending 8 years as a local emergency nurse, Jamie pursued her love of travel and became a travel nurse, working in many states all over the country for the next 4 years. She has also worked in the perioperative and postoperative acute care and outpatient settings as an RN.

Jamie then began working as an emergency nurse in Philadelphia while advancing her education by earning a Master’s Degree in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner certification through LaSalle University. After finishing her degree, she moved to beautiful South Alabama with her family.

Jamie is excited to become part of the pain management team under the training of Drs. Ramsook and Thorn. She has a strong commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care. Through caring with patients living with acute and chronic pain, she is driven to help improve their comfort, function, and overall quality of life. She is dedicated to continuing her education and staying current with the latest research and evidence-based practices to provide safe, effective, and up-to-date pain management care.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach and spending time on the water, exploring new places, and listening to live music. She looks forward to helping patients achieve the best quality of life as possible so they can enjoy the things they love to do as well!

Beware if imitations, there's only one Dr. Ryan Ramsook. I have been battling cancer six years and close to ringing the bell after a tiring fight due to pain caused by anticancer meds. I was one of Dr. Ramsook's first patients and he quickly became a dear friend through his innovative approaches to my various complications caused by more than 30 major surgeries in 72 years. He is brilliant, caring, cand compassionate. Unquestioned he's a lifesaver I will forever be indebted to. Rock on Dr. Ryan Ramsook

We are excited to welcome Keri Prince, APRN, FNP-C to the USP Team!

Keri was born in Dothan, Alabama, where she began her nursing journey by earning her Associate Degree in Nursing from Wallace Community College. She went on to pursue her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and later her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration at the University of Alabama, graduating with honors.

Throughout her career, Keri has gained a wide range of nursing experience, working in labor and delivery, surgery, pre-op, post-op, and the operating room, as well as in home health, palliative care, and hospice. For the majority of her career, she served as a case manager in home health, an experience that equipped her with strong skills in care coordination, patient education, and holistic, family-centered care qualities she now carries into her role as a family nurse practitioner.

Keri now lives in Fairhope, Alabama, with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, spending time at the beach, and being with her family. She is very excited to be a part of the Pain Management team with Dr. Ramsook and Dr. Thorn and looks forward to helping patients achieve the best outcomes and quality of life possible!

Please welcome Kelly Espera, APRN, FNP-C to Team USP!!!

Kelly was born in New York and lived there until she was in middle school. She then moved to Tallahassee with her family and graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Tallahassee State College. She began her career in nursing working primarily in labor and delivery and postpartum caring for mothers and newborns. Following her passion for travel and adventure she spent over 2 years as a travel nurse working in over 5 different states across the country.

She then continued her educational endeavours and completed a Masters Degree in Nursing at Chamberlain University. Kelly earned vast knowledge and experience through her training and is also a member of the Tallahassee Area Council of Advanced Practice Nurses.

Kelly is excited to grow in her career and focus on Pain Management! Kelly continues to stay focused and gain knowledge through searching for the most up to date resources and articles. Kelly is very compassionate in what she does and yearns to have the best outcomes when it comes to her patients.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading books, exercising, exploring new places and enjoying different foods from restaurants!

Dr. Morgan Thorn is a board-certified physician that completed her undergraduate degree at Nova Southeastern University and then medical school at Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM). She then completed her residency at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in Foley, AL.

Training under the tutelage of Dr. Ramsook, Dr. Thorn, is passionate about improving patient quality of life by designing individualized treatment plans that integrate medical management, interventional procedures, physical/occupational therapies, along with patient education. Emphasizing a holistic view of pain care, Dr. Thorn recognizes the physical, emotional, and psychological factors that influence each patients' experience.

Dr. Thorn is eager to help those in need by returning to them a functional and high quality life. She is excited to be a part of the USP team to help deliver the same patient centered care that has set USP apart from all the others!
