✨✨Introducing Paula, Your Dedicated Birth Doula! ✨✨
Hi! I'm Paula Reiter, an ICEA certified birth doula, certified lactation counselor, and LCSW based in Tallahassee, FL serving and empowering families in our community and surrounding areas. As owner of Intuitive Birth Doula Care, LLC, I am committed to providing you with unwavering support, knowledge, and a compassionate presence as you prepare to welcome your little one into the world.
I was born and raised in Miami, am Spanish-speaking, and aim to provide an inclusive practice that can reach diverse populations in an effort to deconstruct the barriers that may hinder your birth vision. My work as a doula is to guide you from pregnancy through labor and delivery and into the postpartum period.
We'll work together to prepare for the birthing experience you envision and your postpartum care. I'll be there to answer your questions, offer evidence-based information, and help you create a personalized birth plan that reflects your wishes. I strongly believe in your right to choose what feels right for you and will offer you a safe and judgement-free space for you to do so.
When labor begins, I'll be right by your side, providing gentle encouragement, soothing techniques, and a calming presence. Whatever your birth preferences are, I'll support your choices wholeheartedly, offering reassurance and comfort every step of the way.
Following the birth, I'll continue to offer guidance and support from assisting with initial baby feeding to postpartum care until about 3 weeks postpartum.
Ultimately, my goal is to provide the space for you to have the loving care you choose, ensure you feel heard, and for you to stand strong in your birth choices to set a precedent for you in your parenting journey. I understand that birth is a transformative, deeply personal experience and am honored to partner with you and your family. I can't wait to meet you and be a part of your story!
