FHA applauds the U.S. House of Representatives for passing an extension of the enhanced premium tax credits. Recently, FHA President and CEO Mary Mayhew spoke with WJXT4 The Local Station / News4JAX about the expiration of enhanced ACA subsidies and what it means for Floridians at risk of losing coverage and for hospitals standing in the gap to provide care.

FHA is urging Congress to extend the enhanced premium tax credits available through the federal Marketplace.

“The individual marketplace plays a vital role in connecting working Floridians to health coverage that ensures timely, appropriate care,” is a message FHA president and CEO Mary Mayhew continues to echo as FHA works to ensure Floridians can affordably access primary care.
