I have a with traveling. Especially !

Both are brutal on the body. But if you are aware of how your body reacts -then I can give you a bunch of tips!!

If you know your feet and /or legs swell when flying /sitting for hours OR ….

If you are walking for hours in you should be prepped for swelling - even if you’re drinking a lot of water!

Don’t freak!!

Two tips:

1. This first tip reminds me of my body building days.

Between going out on stage I would lay down with my feet in the air- just like I’m pictured here!

So easy you can do it any where!

By doing this- you are circulating the blood back to your ❤️ without gravity fighting you!

By removing the stress on the ❤️ we can quickly reduce limb swelling.

Tip #2: use compression socks while flying and once you land while in bed!

The socks will help improve blood flow to your extremities and the compression gently pushes the blood back up the leg which in turn will reduce swelling!

And here’s 1 for ya:

Water! Water! Water!

Remember water flushes water!!!! And with all the heat or travel your body is absolutely DEHYDRATED!!

So even if you feel like you’re drinking a TON of water—keep drinking it.

We've all been there, you feel like you are just too busy to eat. This is such a lie. How crazy does that sound? Nourishing your body is a necessity, not a luxury.

You can be on the go and STILL make choices that are good for you.

1. Remove the processed foods, focus on lean protein and veggies, and watch how your body responds to complex carbs.

2. No more than one drink a day. This will help with anxiety and with any abdominal weight gain

3. Adding weight training will help the metabolism rev up, burn fat and sculpt muscles. HIIT is a good cardio exercise for your 30s, and yoga is good for stress release and mood swings.

4. If you aren't getting a consistent 7-9 hours of sleep, it will lead to weight gain.

Feeling like Easter weekend might derail all your hard work? Here are a few things to keep in mind ⬇️

1. Focus on Relationships: Easter is more than big meals and egg hunts. It's about reflection, gratefulness, and family and friends.

2. Quality over Quantity: Choose a few things you love and enjoy them. Remember, half a slice of cake tastes the same as half a cake.

3. Eat Intuitively: We all have foods we love to eat that make us feel horrible. Choose to stay away from those.

4. Protein and Veggies First: Fill your plate with proteins and veggies first. Look at the other foods as treats, and choose them wisely.

5. Be Active: You're never too old to participate in a three-legged race, help the little ones in an egg hunt, or take a walk to catch up with a relative you haven't seen in a while.
