IMPACT Therapy TLH

Outpatient Pediatric Therapy Impact Therapy was founded in 2006. Therapy serves children and young adults, ages 5-22 years old. https://impacttlh.org/therapy/

We provide an environment that strengthens independence, encourages growth at all levels, and bridges the gap between educational and therapeutic services. Our interdisciplinary approach allows children the opportunity to develop and enhance developmental skills through a play-based approach while working with their therapist in an inclusive and nurturing setting. As a team, the therapists collaborate with families, teachers, and fellow therapists to ensure that developing skills are carried over into their natural environments into a variety of settings. It's Day Two of Spirit Week and the theme is Twinning and Winning, and our team is loving it!

I think our staff loves Spirit Week just as much as the kids! And the costumes will only get better as the week goes on!

On Friday we had our annual Trunk or Treat at IMPACT! This is a time for all of our kiddos to dress up, play games, and have fun in a safe and secure environment!

We are so thankful to our staff, families, and volunteers who worked so hard to put together a fun event for everyone! And come on, look at how cute all of these kids looked!!

Last Friday our ABA team played Red Rover on our trail while we enjoyed the nice fall weather!

We are excited for the cooler temperatures to be able to play outside more!

🍂✨ Our OT team is falling into progress this season! Our beautiful fall leaves were painted with love (and lots of fine motor skills!) by our amazing kiddos during OT sessions. Grateful for growth, creativity, and teamwork every step of the way! 🍁💛

REMINDER! IMPACT Academy will be CLOSED on Thursday and Friday of this week to move to 1725 Hermitage Blvd for our renovations!

This WILL NOT affect Therapy and Preschool. Times and Sessions for Therapy and Preschool will continue as normal.

Two of our RBTs went with our ABA Director, Ashlyn O’Neil, to the statewide FABA Conference. Jayla and Sarah are in school at FSU to become BCBAs.

This conference is tailor-made for RBTs and BCBAs to grow in their knowledge and skill in the field. We are so proud of our team and the way they are continually learning and evolving with new research and best practices!

Today we got to celebrate being back at school with our annual Back to School BBQ! Our director team cooked hamburgers and hot dogs and brought homemade desserts!

We are so thankful to our staff for all they do and love being able to celebrate them in this way. We hope you all enjoyed lunch today and leftovers for the rest of the week!
