We had the absolute joy of welcoming 12 incredible kids to spend the day with us for Take Your Child to Work Day, and what a day it was!
From the moment they arrived, our future leaders jumped right in with a meet & greet and orientation, getting a glimpse into the important work their parents (and our team!) do every day. They explored our space through a scavenger hunt, toured our facilities, and learned firsthand how we care for our community.
Creativity was in full swing as they worked on a special art project; and we’re excited to share that their masterpieces will be featured as centerpiece art for our sponsor tables at our signature fundraising event, Artopia 2026 this June! 🎨
We also took time to celebrate our amazing Spring Social Work interns over a pizza lunch, sending them off with appreciation for the impact they’ve made.
The day continued with a Community Kindness Challenge, where our young participants showed us all how small acts can make a big difference, and wrapped up with time spent alongside their parent or “hero,” reflecting on a day full of learning, connection, and purpose.
Days like today remind us that the future is bright, compassionate, and full of possibility. 💫
