If you or someone you know is struggling with the after effects of their experience from the recent tornadoes that hit Tallahassee, there is a FREE session of EMDR to help relieve trauma. The Trauma Recovery Network (TRN) is made up of local licensed therapists who will provide EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy on a group level. If you are concerned about talking about your experience in front of others, EMDR does not require anyone to discuss their personal experiences outloud. The method of EMDR provided is a group protocol that targets recent experiences. EMDR is an evidence-based protocol for addressing single event trauma.

One of the best parts of Lee’s Place: welcoming spring babies to our garden. Notice how the parents stand watch over the goslings to protect them from outside harm, while also allowing the babies to explore. Lee's Place
