January Student Development Workshop/Brotherhood Activity:
Excited about the new year and the opportunity to continue to set the standard, The Distinguished Young Gentlemen of America, Inc. dedicated their first workshop to reiterating the core values of DYG to both new and current members. Some topics discussed were the mission of DYG, Attire, Program Engagement, and Conduct of a Distinguished Young Gentlemen. The gentlemen were all charged to continue to carry out these core values and carry themselves as they should in their communities as they represent DYG and maintain the standard. We ended our workshop with an evening of fellowship as parents joined the gentlemen and staff for a potluck and quick recap of points discussed earlier.

Tonight, the Distinguished Young Gentlemen of America, Inc. went beyond serving dinner to those in need at The Kearney Center. We also had the privilege of organizing the donation room, which included essentials like pillows, clothes, and towels for those experiencing homelessness. This evening was a powerful reminder of how small acts of kindness can bring comfort and hope to our community. Together, we’re committed to making a difference, one step at a time. #103
