Benefits of Spaying & Neutering: Population Control

Just one unspayed dog can produce dozens of puppies in a single year, and cats can produce even more kittens. Spaying and neutering is one of the most effective ways to prevent unwanted litters and reduce pet overpopulation. 🐾

If you’re considering spaying or neutering your pet, our team is here to help guide you through the process. Give us a call to learn more or schedule an appointment!

Hi everyone,

My name is Dr. Kristina Edmiston and I’m excited to be apart of the BAH family. I’m originally from Pennsylvania and completed my undergraduate degree at Penn State University before earning my degree from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine.

I’m passionate about providing compassionate, thorough care and building lasting relationships with both pets and their families. Helping clients feel informed and confident in their pet’s health is one of the important things to me!

Outside of the clinic, I stay busy with my own pets — a Golden Retriever named Finley and two cats, Sami and Yogi.

I’m truly looking forward to meeting you and your pets (if we have not already) and becoming part of this wonderful community!

This transformation isn’t just cosmetic — it’s medical.

Dental disease is more than bad breath or visible tartar. The bacteria hiding on and below the gumline can cause pain, inflammation, and infection, and may even impact vital organs like the heart, liver, and kidneys if left untreated.

A professional dental cleaning removes this buildup, allowing the gums to heal and helping restore comfort and oral health. Routine dental care plays a critical role in your pet’s overall wellbeing — not just their smile! If it’s been a while since your pet’s last dental evaluation, now is a great time to schedule an exam. Call us today at (850) 893-3047! 🦷

With temperatures expected to reach freezing levels daily — and ā€œfeels likeā€ temperatures as low as 4°F — we encourage pet owners to take extra precautions in the coming week. Please keep outdoor time brief and prioritize your pets’ warmth, comfort, and safety during this extreme cold! Plus, shorter outdoor breaks means longer cuddle sessions! ā¤ā„ļø
