FOMA member & Past President Marc Kaprow, D.O., Chief Medical Director at Simply Healthcare Plans and representative of Wellpoint in Florida, joined community leaders at Lennard High School for the unveiling of a newly transformed weight room. 💪

Made possible through a partnership with Wellpoint and the Impact Fitness Foundation, the renovated space will serve more than 800 student-athletes, promoting healthy habits and long-term wellness.

We’re proud to see osteopathic physicians supporting initiatives that strengthen the health of Florida’s communities.

On February 19, Michelle Mendez, DO, served as Doctor of the Day at the Florida Capitol, sponsored by Senator Yarborough.

A Family Practice physician and a Navy veteran, Dr. Mendez previously served aboard the USS John F. Kennedy (CV67), providing care to more than 5,000 sailors and leading a team of military medical professionals.
