Today, we give thanks for our Meals on Wheels deliverers! These volunteers take time out of their day to hand-deliver hot meals to seniors in our community. Not only are they providing nutritional meals, but they are also giving some much-needed social interaction. For many clients, seeing and talking with our deliverers is the highlight of their day!

With Thanksgiving approaching, we wanted to recognize team members who we couldn't function without. Today is all about our TRIO Kitchen Crew. They start their day early and prepare HUNDREDS of hot meals that are delivered to seniors in our community.

They are so important to our mission, and we are grateful for all of them!

Two of our incredible Meals on Wheels volunteers celebrated their birthday with a baseball-themed party and knocked it out of the park by asking for food donations instead of gifts. ⚾️🎉

We are sending a big thank you to Mark Warren and Tom Tomasi. They collected over 170 pounds of food. Happy Birthday!

Our CEO and COO attended the Florida Aging Summit today and learned from leaders in the aging services field, including Florida Department of Elder Affairs Secretary Branham, State Representative Allison Tant , and Advantage Aging Solutions Executive Director Lisa Bretz. It was wonderful to hear from so many wonderful aging services advocates!

We were thrilled to honor our long-serving Meals on Wheels volunteers, Joan Macmillan and the Moores at the AFP Big Bend Heart of Gold luncheon. Joan has delivered meals since 1972 and the Moores since 2015. We are so grateful for their service! 🩵
