Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 20th, our offices will be closed in observance of Florida’s Emancipation Day.

We are grateful to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for stepping in to fulfill our meal routes for the day and helping ensure seniors in our community continue to receive nutritious meals.

We will resume normal business hours on Thursday!

We were honored to welcome Rocky Hanna, Superintendent of Leon County Schools, to our AmeriCorps Seniors Foster Grandparent Program in-service meeting this morning in Tallahassee.

Today’s gathering focused on connection, continued learning, and celebrating the incredible impact our Foster Grandparents make in local classrooms every day. Superintendent Hanna met with volunteers, shared his appreciation, and recognized the vital role they play in supporting students and strengthening our schools.

Moments like these highlight the power of community partnerships. Our Foster Grandparents are making a difference, one child, one classroom, and one relationship at a time.
