FSU PrimaryHealth is the Florida State University College of Medicine’s new primary-care health center located in southwest Tallahassee at 2911 Roberts Ave. The center was established to meet community health needs in Leon and surrounding counties.
The same physicians who have helped the FSU College of Medicine achieve a national reputation for meeting community health needs are now available to be your personal health-care providers.
FSU PrimaryHealth welcomed its first patients on May 13, 2019 and is scheduling appointments at 850-644-1543, option 2. Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance plans are accepted.
We can address all of your physical, mental and behavioral health concerns, serving as your advocate in a frequently complicated health-care system. We can be your “health-care home,” where our goal is to help you achieve optimal health outcomes utilizing available community and medical resources.
Primary care includes diagnosis and management of acute and chronic illnesses, promoting healthy habits, disease prevention, health maintenance, counseling and patient education. Most health issues can be fully managed by primary care physicians, who will address your health needs by seeking the best course of action. Occasionally, you may need a referral to another specialist. When that is necessary, we will help to coordinate that referral and work closely with that specialist to address your ongoing health issues.
