Dr. George Arcos has established a respected, effective and state‐of‐the‐art practice that offers unique solutions in the management and treatment of pain for patients in North Florida. His practice is distinguished from other treatment options in four important ways:
• Services are uniquely affordable. Patients pay co-‐pays and nothing else, since Dr. Arcos delivers office-‐based, not h
ospital-‐based services.
• Patients are treated holistically. The Institute explores underlying conditions and multiple causes of pain, and offers a range of solutions, often avoiding more invasive treatments such as surgery.
• Dr. Arcos has unparalleled experience. He has served on the faculties of four major universities: the University of Miami, Nova Southeastern University, Florida State University and the University of Florida, where he directed Shands’ pain center. Dr. Arcos is the only physician in the area trained in minimally invasive, state‐of‐the‐art procedures such as MILD, the first new treatment for spinal stenosis in 35 years.
