Big Bend Hospice staff came together in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, honoring those whose lives have been touched by this disease. Team members shared refreshments, stories, and support as we united for a cause that connects so many of us.

Coming together as a team is about more than awareness, it’s about hope, strength, and standing beside one another in solidarity. 💗

🌼 Join Big Bend Hospice for our Día de los Mu***os: Day of the Dead Gathering and Workshop 🌼

The Day of the Dead is a beautiful celebration that honors and remembers loved ones who have passed. Marked by vibrant music, food, and colorful decorations, it’s a time to celebrate life and the memories that continue to connect us.

Join Big Bend Hospice for this special holiday workshop featuring a memorial ofrenda, candle decorating, and a meaningful discussion about continuing bonds. Refreshments will be provided.

We are deeply grateful to State Representative Allison Tant, Gallop Franklin II, and Jason Shoaf for Florida House District 7, along with other legislative leaders, for their unwavering support in helping us secure funding for our Mobile Unit.

This vital resource allows us to expand compassionate care and support directly into the communities we serve. We were honored to take a moment to personally acknowledge and thank them for their commitment to both our mission and the people of the Big Bend region.

💗 Compassion in Action: Painted Pink 💗

Yesterday Big Bend Hospice staff and volunteers proudly participated in the American Cancer Society, Tallahassee Breast Cancer Walk, standing in support of our survivors, fighters, and those we remember.

With our theme “Compassion in Action: Painted Pink,” we walked to honor our team members and loved ones impacted by breast cancer.

BBH is proud to serve our communities across eight counties with compassion, care, and hope. 💕

Big Bend Hospice was proud to participate in the Florida A&M University Homecoming Parade today! Our dedicated staff members, volunteers, and a board member came together to represent all the counties we serve across the Big Bend region.

It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate community, connection, and Rattler pride while sharing our mission of providing compassionate care and support to patients and families throughout our area.

We’re grateful to FAMU for continuing this beloved tradition and to everyone who lined the parade route with smiles and cheers.
