Congratulations to Moultrie Creek Nursing and Rehab Center on its photo, “Rudine,” becoming the Third Place Winner of the 2026 Long Term Care Photo Contest!

Ms. Rudine spent her life riding horses, and she co-stars in the photo with her beloved horse, LELE. Ms. Rudine and the staff always look forward to the days when her friend brings LELE to the center to visit, instantly filling everyone with light.

The photo was snapped by Activities Director Michael Losiago, who is known for tailoring residents’ activities and engagement to their individual life stories.

The Second Place Winner of the 2026 Long Term Care Photo Contest is Cross City Nursing and Rehabilitation!

The photo, “Gone Fishing,” portrays a day when the center took residents to a local lake to laugh, fish, and enjoy a picnic lunch.

The moment was captured by Administrator Shayne Baumgardner, who worked with Activity Director Crystal Parker to plan the fishing trip that represents much more than just an outing for residents. It represents joy, purpose, and the sense of accomplishment from participating in activities they love. 📸

Congratulations to Hialeah Shores Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, the Grand Prize Winner of the 2026 Long Term Care Photo Contest, sponsored by Incite Strategic Partners!

The photo, titled “With Santa in the House, Everything is Magical,” features three different generations of happiness during the holiday season in one image – the Director of Social Services, several visiting children, and a 100-year-old resident.

The photographer, Yanesly Hernandez, is the Director of Activities at Hialeah Shores, where she has worked for three years. 📸

“From festive decorations and shared meals to laughter, music, and special gatherings, these joyful moments remind everyone that they are never alone and are deeply loved,” says Isis Fernandez, Hialeah Shores Administrator. “Our staff goes above and beyond to create magical holiday memories that bring smiles to our residents’ faces and comfort to their hearts.”

In honor of National Nurses Week, we’re highlighting Menorah Life's 4th floor team in St. Petersburg. Alongside a social worker and physician, this team of nurses showed up in matching yellow scrubs to brighten the day of residents and fellow staff members. Moments like these are a great reminder of the power of teamwork and impact that nurses are making beyond the bedside.
