Last week we honored Mel Beal, CEO of Facility Support Company, with FHCA's highest honor - the Walter M. Johnson, Jr. Circle of Excellence Award. From a career that began as a CNA to today a CEO, Mel is a constant and effective voice for long term care. He understands the importance of advocacy and has helped FHCA and its members navigate through significant legislative challenges. Mel also recognizes what's needed to grow the future of Florida's long term care workforce, and his generous contributions to FHCA's Education and Development Foundation will help fund thousands of dollars in scholarships for future nurses, administrators and other individuals looking to advance their LTC careers.
