Our Story
CHILDREN’S COMMUNICATION CENTER, INC., provides comprehensive Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Services* to the pediatric, adolescent, & adult populations with a focus on determining communicative needs & the best avenue(s) for improving communication skills. Children's Communication Center was founded as a pediatric practice specializing in young children, their families & early intervention. Over the years, this Center has expanded to meet the needs of 'our children' growing with them & increasing the services for adolescents & adults, including Corporate Speech & Communication Consulting.
*Effective March 2020, this Center is providing our SLP services via a HIPAA compliant Telepractice platform.

OUR MISSION: To increase awareness and understanding of communication development and disorders AND provide high quality, well managed, and professional Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services with an emphasis on early identification and intervention of communicative needs.
OUR PHILOSOPHY: It is the philosophy of Children’s Communication Center that all children, adolescents, adults and their families deserve the best opportunity for the development and continuance of effective & efficient communication. And that “No child is too young, an adult too old, or a concern too small that an evaluation or consultation would not be beneficial if a Speech-Language Pathology or related problem appears present.”
STAFF CREDENTIALS: All professionals providing services with this Center meet the requirements of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) & the State of Florida, as well as, any city or county requirements. A Speech-Language Pathologist may also be referred to as a Speech Therapist.
SERVICES: This Center provides comprehensive Diagnostic, Intervention, & Consultation Services with an emphasis on achieving successful & effective communication. Family involvement is an integral aspect & supports the individualized SLP program.
INSURANCE/REFERRALS: This Center assists each family to verify coverage & provides information regarding other possible funding sources. Referrals by community professionals are accepted as are self-referrals.
