Your MRI might be lying to you. 🔍

Okay, not lying—but it’s only giving us half the story.

If you’re over 30 and you get an MRI of your spine, there is a better-than-50% chance the radiologist will find "Degenerative Disc Disease." By age 50, that number jumps to 80%.

Here is the wild part: The people in these studies had zero back pain. 🙅♂️🙅♀️

We’ve been conditioned to think that a "bulge" or "wear and tear" means we are broken. But the science shows that these findings are often just a normal part of the human experience—like getting gray hair or wisdom lines.

The Bottom Line:

An MRI is a snapshot, not a destiny.

"Abnormal" findings are statistically "Normal."

You can have a "messy" MRI and feel absolutely fantastic.

Stable hips equal happy knees. Here’s why yours are grumpy

🏃Still dealing with stiff ankles? It’s time to unglue them!
Ever feel like your ankles are just "stuck," no matter how much you stretch your calves? Often, that restriction isn't just in the muscles—it's in the joint itself.
➡️Why Flossing Works:
✅Joint Distraction: Creates space in the joint capsule for better movement.

✅Tissue Shearing: Helps "unstick" fascia and skin that might be restricting flow.

✅Compression: Promotes a fresh rush of blood to the area once the band is removed.

How to do it:
Wrap it up: Start at the mid-foot and wrap tightly toward the calf. You want good compression, but never to the point of your toes turning blue!

Move it: Once wrapped, go through 15–20 reps of the moves on video, deep lunges or squats, keeping your heel pinned to the floor.

The Result: Unbind, re-test your squat or lunge, and feel the difference!

Stiff ankles can lead to issues up the chain in your knees and hips. Don’t let them hold back your stride!

Dealing with back pain? Have you tried press ups or cobra stretch and it helps but doesn't seem to get the pain to go all the way away?
A few months back, I was dealing with back pain radiating into my hips and just couldn't seem to get it to stay away until I tried this.

➡️Try using your foam roller to get a bit of extra pressure to your back.

➡️Squeeze your ab muscles until you get just a bit of pressure to your back(very little pressure actually needed)

➡️Recheck with your cobra or press up stretch and see if your back is better

Is "Tech Neck" becoming a literal pain in the neck? For every inch your head tilts forward, the pressure on your spine doubles. If you’re feeling that familiar ache between your shoulder blades or at the base of your skull, it’s time to reset.
Here are 6 simple things you can do right now to protect your posture:

The Eye-Level Rule: Bring your phone to your eyes, not your eyes to your phone. Lift your elbows to your ribcage to prop your screen up.

The 90-90 + Eye-Level Rule applies to your desk set-up as well, make sure your knees, hips, and elbows are at 90 degrees with monitor at eye level.
The "20-20-20" Posture Reset: Every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds, and roll your shoulders back and down.
Train the core and postural muscles several times a week.
Don't wait for a "tweak" to become a chronic issue. Small daily habits make the biggest difference in long-term spinal health!
