I write this post with a heavy heart, but Driftaway will shut its doors permanently on Sunday, December 17th. I can’t thank you enough for the support over the past 6+ years. I honestly didn’t know if it would last this long, and it has been a dream every day to see those smiling faces leave the center a bit happier than they entered. It has been an absolute pleasure to get to know you all!
Here are some pertinent details:
-If you have any remaining float credits or gift cards lying around, please come use them!
-Hours of Operation will remain Thursday-Sunday, so book your floats ASAP. We want to get as many floats in before we close as possible! Please use the Online Calendar to book your floats at Driftaway.Floathelm.com/booking
-All monthly memberships will be canceled on November 17th. Current members will continue to receive their discounted pricing until we close.
-Beginning Nov. 17th, floats will be priced at the current Member Rate of $54.
-Gift Cards will no longer be available for purchase.
-50lb bags of Epsom Salt will be available for $35 for anyone interested.
We know so many of you have enjoyed floating and will want to continue your float practice. Fortunately, Tallahassee has another excellent Float Center, HyperBolic Float! We encourage you all to check them out. They offer a large Float Suite, Infrared Sauna, and a massage chair, among other amenities. We would not recommend them if we didn’t think highly of them and their team!
It is hard to describe my gratitude for all of you who have supported this journey from the beginning and through COVID. I opened Driftaway with a mission to help the community, and I can confidently say we did that. Since we opened, we have met just shy of 2000 new friends and have facilitated over 5000 floats! I consider that a great success.
I am excited to continue my mission of helping the community by going full-time with Spinks Home Services. A functioning and beautiful home is the first step in creating a thriving city! Please do not hesitate to reach out with any of your small home repair needs.
