Happy last day of school to our school going families! This Summer is rolling in HOT at Tally Mind over Mat with new Aerial Arts classes for kids and adults! Here is the breakdown:

Aerial Open Mat (no instruction, supplies can be provided, under 18 must have parent supervision) Mondays 6-7, Saturdays 1030-1130 and some Friday evenings.
Kids Aerial Yoga (Silks Hammocks) Tuesdays 6-7
Kids Aerial Arts with Carissa (Split Silks and Lyra) Thursdays 530-630
Adult Lyra with Faye (aerial hoop) Fridays 530-630

I am a huge proponent of fiscal transparency so I decided to start sharing progress on my monthly goals for this studio! We are very close to paying off the debt it took to open the studio! We have $2,155 left.

Right now I pay myself minimum wage only for the classes I teach - not the tens of hours I spend on social media, marketing, and managing clients and employees a month. And I just started paying myself at all in March. Paying myself is not even on this goal chart, but I am hoping to add it soon.

I am a BIG data fan so I love it when organizations post their monthly costs and share what they need to stay open! If youre a big data fan too, here's a little graphic for you too.

Here is where we are as of May 21st on our goals. (Collaboration pay is space rental or percentage pay for out of studio events.)

We are missing 4 or 5 of the crew but- Happy last Spring session yoga class ! We are taking a week break and coming back on Thursdays at 5:45pm first week of June. If you are looking for a VERY affordable regular yoga class, this class might be for you! The Sue is a City of Tallahassee community center and my yoga class is one of the programs they offer. This next session will run June 4th through end of July. 8 weeks of yoga for just $35 total. Register online now at talgov.org Parks and Recreation.

Bringing more Aerial to Mind over Mat! We are so excited to start a Kids Aerial Arts class (covering Silks and Lyra) with the wonderfully talented teacher and performer Ms. Carissa!

Class is on Thursday evenings from 5:30-6:30 and June is already almost fully booked! Currently there are just 2 spots open for June 4th and 1 spot available June 25th.
