Our most recent patient highlight is a true testament to ‘never stop working on yourself!’ At just 87 years young and she’s one year out from a Reverse Total Shoulder! Now she’s totally independent and very happy with her results and newly gained mobility. And just the year before she had a total knee replacement!

Surgery Story: This 89 year old retired nurse who is now 3 months post-op and is now ready to return to her bowling league of 50 years! Prior to her reverse total shoulder arthroplasty, she couldn’t raise her hand this high! Good luck back in the lanes and get that Turkey!

We’re celebrating the 1st day in the new Tallahassee Memorial Hospital tower the best way we know how, with a little bit of surgery! It has 32 state of the art operating rooms and procedure rooms as well as a new intensive care unit that is finally open after years of planning!

Surgery Story:
We are so glad to see our patient able to have full mobility and use of her arms! After becoming her husband’s caretaker and putting his needs first, she essentially lost the use of her right arm. She underwent a reverse total shoulder arthroplasty and now after just 4 weeks has completely regained use of her arm! This is why we do what we do! To take care of our patients and put their needs first!

Surgery Story: Today we bring you the before and after X-Rays of a man in his mid-fifties who came to us with a work-related injury and complained of severe hip pain. We found that he had a pre-existing condition of hip arthritis and needed a total hip arthroplasty to alleviate his pain. We are extremely pleased with the result and know he will be back to work, operating heavy machinery, in no time!
