Hello, my brothers and sisters in Christ,
I hope this message will encourage you. I am excited to share an opportunity that I have with my church this summer. I would love to invite you to partner with me in prayer and financial support if you are led.
This upcoming July from the 6th to the 15th, I am planning to participate in a mission trip to Penang, Malaysia with Riverwood Chapel. During this trip, our group will serve the local community through prayer and encouragement with the missionaries, while sharing testimonies through our actions and conversations with the people.
As Jesus commands us in Matthew 28:19, “Go and make disciples of all nations,” I feel called by God in obedience and faith in part of what He is doing in my life. I believe this trip will strengthen and an opportunity for sharing my faith in this way.
I am excited because I believe God will use us to share our testimonies while we are on this trip. As our group prepare, we are trusting God not only for the logistics of the trip, but also for spiritual preparation: humility, peace, love, and openness to how He is working through this experience.
Our group would be grateful for your prayers. Specifically, we ask that you pray for:
• Unity, safety, and spiritual growth for the team throughout the trip
• Wisdom and discernment
• Open hearts and have meaningful conversations with people
• God’s plan for financial needs for the trip
The total cost of the trip is $3000, which covers travel, lodging, meals, and ministry expenses. Would you consider partnering with me financially? Enclosed/attached is a form that provides instructions for any commitments of prayer or financial partnership. All the funds go to the cost of my trip and anything over and above that amount will go to other team members who are also seeking partnership. Any amount would be deeply appreciated. Most importantly, please know that your prayers are just as valuable as financial support.

3. Enter your donation amount on the Short Term Missions line.
4. On the last page before clicking Submit, enter the name of the person you are giving your donation to in the Gift Memo box.
