The office of Dr. David Dawson, O.D. and Dr. Michelle Dawson, O.D. graduates of The Ohio State University College of Optometry. They opened Tallmadge Family Eye Care in 2008 with the goal of providing custom care that focused on individual needs. Whenever anyone walks into TFEC, Dr. David and Dr. Michelle hope that they feel like they are part of a family.
Both doctors specialize in comprehensive eye health, and will thoroughly examine a patient’s eyes while keeping in mind their overall health, complaints, and any other issues. An eye exam at TFEC is much more than just getting a prescription or contact lenses; it often will involve a thorough evaluation and follow up with a primary care physician. We are proud to be independent, so we strive to carry independent frame lines and independent lenses that can’t be found in chain stores or online. Our opticians will personally assist you in the frame selection in order to ensure the best style and fit for you. We accept outside prescriptions and most major vision plans. Plus, we have great discounts on frames and lenses that come with 2 year unlimited warranties. Our expert opticians will professionally adjust and fit your glasses as often as needed for as long as you have them, at no charge. We also replace screws and nose pads at no charge.
