Thoughts to consider: The price of groceries is expensive and we all need to nourish our bodies and brain. Yes, the price of eggs has increased but consider the amount of nutrition in 1 single egg vs. other unhealthy, expensive items we often don't hesitate to put in our mouths; sugary coffees, chemical laden snacks, and so much more. There are many ways to stay resourceful with meal prepping and giving new life to foods that are near expiration or produce that's gotten wrinkly Whats wrong with a few wrinkles?! 😉. If you need help creating something delicious and healthy with what you have in the pantry and the back of your freezer, reach out. Maybe I can help!

We didn't grow up with much so Mom was a great teacher in showing us kids how to work with what you have. It may not be your favorite meal but it will fill your belly 💕

Did you know...

Chickens need about 14 hours of daylight to lay eggs. In the winter, there are fewer hours of daylight so they don't lay as much and they conserve their energy to keep warm.

Chickens shed their feathers in the fall and replace them with new ones (molting). This process redirects their energy from laying eggs to growing feathers.

A great reminder that we all need to rest and restore during this season. ❄️ 🥚 🤎

I'm a foodie by nature. Many of you already know this!

So most of my family makes fun because I'm the "put an egg on it" gal, for most leftovers or pretty much anything that intrigues me. I dare you to try a sunny side up or over easy egg on leftovers; chicago style pizza (my fave!!), spaghetti (delicious for breakfast!!), ricotta toast, stuffed peppers, shrimp and grits (I know, sounds crazy). Trust me!

Size matters! :-) Orange Accordian Heirloom tomatoes are so much fun to grow and cook with! 🍅 This big beautiful girl offers just the right gerth to cover your slice of soughdough for a beefy good burger or BLT. 😋

I was a bit under the weather so didn't get to spend time in the dirt this week. I was pleasantly surprised with a bright colored harvest this evening. Thanks to the young ladies of the house for helping to pick beans today! 💚

For all my tomato lovers out there, the garden is slow growing this year but should have plenty to share soon! 😘
