Veronica Margaret Hornick, mother, grandmother, sister, 87 years of age of Beaver Meadows, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at home while in the care of her family.

Born Saturday, October 23, 1937 in McAdoo the daughter of the late George and Julia (Kish) Fidishun. Veronica was also predeceased by; beloved husband, John P. Hornick Sr.; sons, John P. Hornick Jr., Ronald Hornick Sr., Robert J. Hornick Sr.; brothers, George and John Fidishun.

Surviving are; daughter, Michele A. Rhoades and her husband Byron; sister, Margaret Mary Bumbulsky; grandchildren, Michael Hydock Jr., Richard Hydock and his wife Rachel, Megan Rhoades, Amber Maguschak and her husband Richard, Robert Hornick Jr. and his wife ALyssa, Ronald Hornick Jr.; great grandchildren, Grayson and Odessa Hydock, Carson and Ameilia Maguschak, Samuel Hornick.

A 1955 McAdoo High School graduate, Veronica had worked for Acme Markets and retired from Hazel Park Meats. Veronica and her husband John enjoyed traveling, and Veronica embraced technology by keeping up with them by way of the Friends and Family App.

Joshua Todd Robert Barlip, 34, passed away unexpectedly September 3, 2025, in Lansford, PA.

He was the loving son of Angelia Barlip of Florida and James Strockoz of Coal Township Pa.

Joshua was employed by Sylo in Tamaqua PA.

He enjoyed four wheeling, helping friends, joking around but the most important thing in his life was his son A***n.

Surviving in addition to his parents, are his son A***n Barlip, sister Allison VanHorn, half sister Nicole and half brothers Christian and Cory. Maternal grandmother Elizabeth Manner.

Nephews: Leonard IV and Aedon VanHorn and numerous other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
