Dexcom has shared an important update: the Dexcom G6 system (sensors, transmitters, and receivers) will be gradually discontinued starting July 1, 2026.

If you’re currently using G6, it may be a good time to talk with your healthcare provider about next steps. Patients are being encouraged to consider transitioning to newer options:

• Dexcom G7 — approved for ages 2+, compatible with Tandem Mobi, t X2, Omnipod 5, and Beta Bionics
• Dexcom G7 (15-day) — approved for adults 18+, compatible with Omnipod 5 and Beta Bionics iLet

In February, Sgt. Snuggles visited the Vilseck and Grafenwoehr Army bases in Bavaria, Germany.

This visit gave him the opportunity to see one of the Army’s largest overseas training commands. He also stopped by the health clinic and TRICARE offices to meet service members and their teams.

During his time there, Sgt. Snuggles spread cheer, promoted wellness for military families overseas, and explored the snowy German countryside. He greeted customers and lent a helping paw around our busy store.

Sgt. Snuggles brought along many stories and memories from his travels that impressed even the most seasoned service members.

After a few weeks of the cold Bavarian winter, Sgt. Snuggles is now making his way to northwest Germany — with Spangdahlem up next!

✔️ Postpartum recovery and physical therapy

Depending on your plan, you may also have flexibility in choosing your provider—either through a primary care manager or directly with approved specialists.
Pro tip: Make sure to register your newborn in DEERS within 90 days after birth to ensure continuous coverage.

TRICARE Overseas: How to Get Care Abroad

Living or traveling overseas? Make sure you know how to access care at military hospitals and clinics.

🔹 Check your TRICARE status and plan before you travel or move
🔹 Choose the right plan (Prime Overseas, Select Overseas, etc.)
🔹 Schedule appointments through your PCM or International SOS
🔹 For urgent or emergency care, go to the nearest facility immediately

Most care at military facilities has no out-of-pocket cost. If you see a civilian provider, you may need to pay upfront and file for reimbursement through International SOS.
