🌞💫 At Heru Holistic Healing, we're firm believers in the transformative power of Sun-gazing and Grounding. These practices invite us to harmonize with nature, revitalize our energies, and cultivate a deep sense of inner peace.
Sun-gazing is a sacred practice best observed during sunrise or sunset, when the sun's UV index is at zero, typically during the first hour of sunrise and the last hour of sunset. It's during these times that sun-gazing is safest, minimizing the risk of damage to your eyes (1).
For those new to sun-gazing, we recommend the Hira Ratan Manek (HRM) method (3). This method starts with 10 seconds of sun-gazing barefoot on the earth and increases by 10 seconds each day until reaching a full hour. This method allows for a gradual adaptation to the practice, promoting safety and effectiveness.
Sun-gazing has been said to increase energy levels, enhance mood, and even sharpen intuition. It's a way to connect with the infinite power and beauty of the cosmos, drawing in the sun's energy to fuel our own life force.
Grounding, or earthing, involves making direct, bare skin contact with the earth's surface. Scientific studies suggest this practice can reduce inflammation, improve sleep, and stabilize biological rhythms (2).
At Heru Holistic Healing, we aim to help you reconnect with your true self and the world around you. We believe that by aligning ourselves with nature, we can tap into its healing power and reap the benefits of a holistic balance.
Join us in embracing the natural healing power of the Earth and Sun. Let's journey together towards holistic health and wellbeing.
