The story began with a small town physician, Dr Qilin Lu, with a grand ambition to make changes to current primary care services like what Starbucks did to coffee industry. He wanted to recreate the Primary Care Experience. Inspired by his loving wife Sissi Cao, and their 2 boys Ethan and Shawn, SQ2 was born. The company SQ2 Medical PLLC was founded in a rural town Yakima, WA from the Pacific Northwest. February 2021, the same month Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the super bowl, with the love for Tampa Florida, they traveled 3000 miles, coast to coast, to launch their first Medical Suite, SQ2 Primary Care, in the heart of Carrollwood, Tampa. Based on the principle of 'Listen is to better understand, and understand is to better care.' They committed to create a New Experience to medical office visits. Their ambition is to disrupt the ever growing corporate medicine, with a one size fits all approach to everyone's health. Their goal is to bring a more personalized, Mind & Body Total Care approach. Understanding health is not only Physical, but also Emotional and Spiritual. They call it 'The SQ2 Effect.'
