Loss of fat pads and bone resorption over time causes accelerated aging starting in the late 30s onwards. Also, rapid weight loss, i.e Ozempic face, is a real thing.

This lovely patient had significant temporal wasting, which we call peanut head. She has never had any aesthetics procedures, so was nervous initially. But she was absolutely in love with her results at the end. By filling these areas, it gives a more youthful and full facial structure. I was able to obtain 9 cc of PRF and even in terms of cost, this is way cheaper than doing nine syringes of filler. PRP/PRF can be used anywhere on the face and even body.

My patients love PRP/PRF in lieu of fillers especially in light of recent findings that fillers are not good in the long run.
Plus, PRP/PRF contains growth factors derived from one’s own blood, so it’s not only natural, but also regenerative, promoting the growth of collagen and laying a healthy infrastructure. Even if patients choose to have surgical intervention later, PRF/PRF doesn’t have the effects that fillers do in terms of causing granulomas and adhering to tissue which makes it difficult for surgeons to navigate, not to mention that fillers migrate over time cause deformities and they are synthetic.

After a few Aviclear treatments, she came back for a touch up almost 2 years later.
