Sometimes we have to call in reinforcements to get it done!
Part of the convenience of working with us isn’t just that we advance funds interest free, but we will also help when it comes to the contents you leave behind. When an estate sale is warranted, we arrange the service as a convenience. But sometimes there isn’t enough to do a sale like those. So we will help to sell as much as possible. Today we are delivering a bedroom set to a buyer of our clients bedroom furniture.
This is just one of the ways we try to get the senior as much as possible.

Join us next week at Grace United Methodist Church the first Wednesday of every month, where Cat leads a Caregiver Support Group, sponsored by Maris Pointe of Venice! 10:00a-11:30a. In the month of August we had a co-sponsor, ER2U--Dr. Vass came in and shared about her mobile urgent care that serves the Venice, FL community and we discussed how to manage family dynamics and caregiving.
This month we will meet on Sept. 3 and will be diving into the topic of Navigating Grief as a Caregiver. We hope to see you there, come and be amongst people that can cry with you, laugh with you, and everything in between.

In the month of August, one of our founders, Mary Catherine Roderick (Cat) would have been found spending several hours instructing the Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Training seminar, the required course for those seeking to obtain their Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) credentials. This education is something she takes personal, as she is currently helping her family navigate care practices for her Nana whom currently resides in a senior living setting and is living with advanced Dementia The passion for better person-centered care practices is evident when you spend time in the room with her.
This month’s CDP candidates ranged from folks in different areas of FL to those in Kansas City. They were professionals serving the senior healthcare industry as placement agencies, caregivers, administrators, activities and care coordinators, kitchen/dining staff, and senior living management.
Thank you, as always to Marcy MacPherson with Still Alive Inside: Dementia Supports and Opportunities for offering the unique opportunity for the participants to follow this training with an Immersive Dementia Experience—it helps to put it all into perspective with a practical application. We are truly grateful for your collaborative spirit.

We have something new to share!!!
This year, we have done a bit of rebranding—refreshing our logo among other things.

We hope to better help families and their loved ones navigate all the ways we can help support seniors as they need more supportive care and must tackle the daunting task of selling their home in order to afford doing so.
Another addition we have made is having the ability to advance funds when facing the inability to afford funeral costs in the wake of the passing of a loved one. Too often this situation is occurring, as funeral and burial costs continue to rise. We are honored to be able to support families by giving them a solution to this financial burden, and ensure their loved one gets the dignified service they deserve. We have a section on our website further explaining this service.

We are able to provide our services nationwide, so feel free to share with family and friends!

Last week, Mari Beth and Cat were putting in some good old fashioned elbow grease! They even found some Christmas in July!

We are helping our clients get their home listed on the market by doing some deep cleaning and saving them
the stress of having to hire and pay a cleaner for this quick listing. Sometimes, if the condition of the home allows, we are able to
Offer our Hybrid Offer—listing the home aggressively for (typically) 90days on the traditional market in an effort to maximize their net proceeds on the salod their home. This option allows them to access advanced funds with us, interest free, affording them to move into their community of choice immediately—this means no dealing with the showings, but more importantly no need to wait until the home sales and closes to afford safe placement.

In a world that often feels chaotic, it’s powerful to come together in the spirit of peace and purpose. Today, we welcomed an incredible group of senior living sales directors from the Venice, FL community to The Table: Where Competitors Collaborate.

This initiative—co-hosted with Carlos Caballero of Tidewell Hospice, Chase Brown of Trilogy Home Healthcare, and Jackie Rich of HomeWell Care Services—was designed to encourage connection over competition. As fellow Venetians, we focused on how we can work together to better serve our seniors by sharing knowledge, resources, and a collective commitment to doing what’s best for each individual.

Sales directors are often the first line of contact for seniors seeking support. When we collaborate and communicate, we ensure the right care, at the right time, in the right place.

Today, we had the profound honor of helping an out of state client in urgent need by purchasing her home. She was literally on her deathbed, facing her final days with incredible strength, and wanted to ensure her family was taken care of. A family member was referred to us from a source that knows of our reputation for empathy and ability to navigate complex situations with compassion.

Without a plan in place, her loved ones would have been left not only grieving but also struggling through the lengthy and costly probate process in their state. Meanwhile, the financial burden of maintaining the home—HOA fees, mortgage payments, and inevitable deterioration—would have continued to grow. She wanted to act quickly, not just to secure her legacy but to give her family peace of mind.

Because of our ability to move fast and find solutions, we facilitated a rapid sale, ensuring her home’s equity could be used for her care and to support her loved ones. This was not just a transaction—it was a final act of love from a woman who spent her last moments thinking of others.
