🚨 Not all heel pain is plantar fasciitis! 🚨 I just saw a patient who was treated for “plantar fasciitis” for 6+ months… but it wasn’t plantar fasciitis at all.

Her story:
1️⃣ Months of heel pain, couldn’t stand at work.
2️⃣ Tried stretching, inserts, shoe changes, steroid shots — nothing worked.
3️⃣ Exam showed burning pain + other joint issues.
4️⃣ Bloodwork revealed the real cause: Lupus.

Takeaway: If heel pain treatments aren’t working, don’t give up. Heel pain is NOT always plantar fasciitis — sometimes it’s something bigger.
