ANNOUNCEMENT
1-Day Tactical Emergency Casualty Care – Law Enforcement Officer (TECC-LEO)

Developed by NAEMT’s Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) Committee, the TECC program is based on the guidelines from the Committee on Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (Co-TECC) and the Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) program. TECC uses lessons learned from our military and applies them to the civilian world of tactical medicine.
This 8-hour course covers topics designed to decrease preventable death in the tactical situation. Topics include: Hemorrhage control; Airway Management, Managing Chest Trauma, strategies for treating wounded responders in threatening environments; and techniques for dragging and carrying victims to safety. At the core of the TECC program are three distinct phases that have been well-proven by TCCC-trained personnel in the war against terrorism in Iraq and Afghanistan.

1. Direct Threat Care - Care that is rendered while under attack or in adverse conditions.
2. Indirect Threat Care - Care that is rendered while the threat has been suppressed but may resurface at any point.
3. Evacuation - Care that is rendered while the casualty is being evacuated from the incident site.

TECC focuses on the medicine during these phases of care and provides guidelines for managing trauma in the civilian tactical or hazardous environment. While TECC has a tactical slant, it takes an all-hazards approach to providing care outside the normal operating conditions of most Law Enforcement agencies, such as responding to a mass casualty or active shooter event.
The standard cost is $250/student. We have classes scheduled for every Friday, through 26 June 2026. If you need a different day, then contact us to schedule a day. If you have a group that needs training, we can bring the course to you. This course is the perfect adjunct to Law Enforcement and Armed Security training.
To enroll in one of the courses, click Class Schedule and complete the registration. If you have any questions, or would like further information, feel free to email us at info@wcfcpr.com or call (931) 249-1540.

All,
Happy New Year everyone! It seems like 2025 went by so quickly. The training center had a pretty good year overall. Next week we will be opening our new location in Knoxville, Illinois. We hope to keep the momentum up and open additional training centers in Florida and Indiana before 2027, but we will see what happens.
Our Tactical Courses drew a lot of interest in 2025. We will run one more TCCC CMC course next week and then we will be re-focusing a little until April. We will be focusing on EMT and Paramedic re-certifications until April. The National Registry recertification period ends in March, and we know a lot of people will be scrambling to get the CEU’s that they need.
We put together programs that provide all the CEU’s for recertification and only requires two days in the classroom. Unlike the online recertification courses that only provide you with CEUs, our program will also provide you with additional skills and course certifications. Use this program to stay competitive for promotions and pay raises within your organizations. Check out the details in the flyer or on our website.
EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic Recertification
We will still be running our tactical course, but upon request. We will offer tactical medicine classes open to the public once we see what the Op Tempo is from the Recertification Programs. We are also offering new courses as well. Check out our Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS) class and our All-Hazards Disaster Response Course (AHDR). You do not have to be in one of the recertification programs to register for these courses. You just won’t get the discount that the recertification programs are getting.
In April we will switch our focus back to the tactical programs, while still maintaining our regular training courses. We will also be offering short video lectures in our Gallery section. They will be slowly added to the website. The intent is to add tips and tricks of the trade for the lay person, as well as the healthcare professional. Please let us know if you have any requests, recommendations, or suggestions.

It has been a busy month for PHTLS and TCCC. 2026 is going to be even busier. Check out what we have in store for you!
