She ensures that all of her patients receive top quality orthopedic care through her extensive experience, state-of-the-art technology, and equipment. Some common foot and ankle conditions diagnosed and treated include: » Foot and Ankle Surgery » Bunions » Foot Orthotics » Plantar fasciitis treatment including Ultrasound, TENS, EMS » Sports Injuries » Flat Feet » Gout » Hammer Toes » Ingrown Nails » Pediatric Foot and Ankle Problems » Diabetic Foot care » Wound Care » Fungal Toenails When your feet hurt you hurt all over. Whether you are currently experiencing pain or a recent injury, Dr Beckford provides a thorough and complete lower extremity evaluation. She will find the problem and provide an appropriate solution. Dr Beckford's aim is to make patients feel relaxed and comfortable. She also focuses on the importance of educating patients about their condition and provides support around their plan of care towards healing. Born in the U.K. Dr Beckford studied at University College London in Podiatric Medicine she practiced in the UK and Australia, before heading to the states to become a Podiatric Surgeon. Graduating from NYCPM and residency at North shore/LIJ. "Having my patients come into my office with a problem that I can provide relief from is very rewarding to me."
