First I want to thank everybody who is voting in DMS. I am trying to keep this messages interesting throughout the competition. We are currently in 9th place. Let’s keep moving up 👏🏻 As I’m saying in DMS:

From here on, I will be sharing a bit about my fitness and health journey every day with you.

Todays thought: it took me 14 years to get as strong and fit as I am now. It’s ok if you take your time too on whatever goal you have.

Alright. It’s time to inspire! THANK YOU FOR YOUR VOTE.

What was your win for the day? ✅

Today I watched myself hold two 15 pound dumbbells and do dumbbell flys on the bench. I only did it for 2 reps, but I was brought back to the beginning of this lift heavy journey about 4 months ago now when I could only 3-5 pound flys. My tricep press also increased to a 32 Ib one rep max from the 10 Ib it was when I started. I still have a ways to go for my calisthenics strength, but I’m slowly getting better every month.

Keep going. It may take time, but you WILL reach your goals. You may even surpass ones you couldn’t imagine were possible. 🙏

With love,

Coach Olya

It’s true, you can choose to turn your life into the one you desire (and this won’t happen with fads) or you can stay where you are.

The choice is yours. Which one are you choosing?

I don’t know why I didn’t try this sooner but I’m excited to see how it goes! Come sit on with me later at 9pm EST after the gym. I’ll be doing a hard launch for my channel soon but I wanted to do a soft launch first to make sure I understand it all. Link in bio! See you later 🖤

We’ve all seen it. The Tik toks where them b***ys are looking 🔥 and it may look like they are arching their back in certain exercises like the squat. You may have even seen a creator do it once or twice.

The problem?

They are creating immediate problems for their lower back. This is true for lifts that bear weight on your lower back especially and not just the squat.

As you can see in these two photos above, in one my back is arched. You can see there is a line going through my body showing what it should feel like to be aligned. If I were to perform something like a bicep curl, for example, standing like that ❌photo, I’d certainly feel it in my lower back later due to the lack of stability I created in my mid section.

If I were to use the last ✅ photo though, I’d be giving my body more stability to lift heavier weight and should experience no pain. You can see that my body is more in line with the pink line in this one.

I hope this was helpful to you. Don’t try to have that b***y by arching, unless it’s for a non weighted photo for a very short time😉. You’ll thank me later when you can lift heavy weight and feel unstoppable.

We have ALL heard about it by now.

Cycle syncing.

But why is it important?

There are a lot of studies on this one, but to put it plainly, our hormones affect our ability to have gains in a similar way a man’s does.

The difference is that men have testosterone with a 24 hour cycle (high in the morning and low at night) where as we have a cycle of multiple hormones that lasts one month. It is within different points of our cycle that our workouts can be affected.

It should be of note that the food we eat also affects our hormone cycles and, therefore, what we get out of a workout.

So what should be we doing? The short answer is listen to your body. We all will feel slightly different throughout our cycle. The long answer will require me to make a chart (and I love those).

Follow for more info on how to successfully workout as a woman or if you just want to see my chart that goes more into depth on the subject ❤️💪🏻 Happy International Women’s Day and keep kicking butt.
