Residents celebrated Cinco de Mayo in style. Residents listened to live music being performed along with margaritas and appetizers.

National Skilled Nursing Care Week, celebrated May 10–16, 2026, is a meaningful time to recognize the vital role of skilled nursing care centers and the people who make them feel like home. This year’s theme, “Moments in Bloom,” reflects the everyday care, connection, and compassion that define skilled nursing communities.

Established by the American Health Care Association in 1967, this annual observance honors residents, caregivers, and care teams across the country. In our centers, it’s the simple, everyday moments, an encouraging word, a helping hand, a shared smile,that grow into something truly meaningful. These “moments in bloom” are made possible by dedicated teams who work each day to create environments where residents are supported with dignity, respect, and compassionate care.

During this week of recognition, we celebrate the essential work happening in skilled nursing care centers everywhere, as well as the relationships that make these communities so special. Thank you to our care teams for your continued dedication, and to our residents and families for trusting us to be part of your journey.

Happy Family Friday!

Residents enjoyed having social coffee outside in our beautiful courtyard and getting some fresh air. Afterwards residents participated in noodle ball, where residents use foam tubes to hit balloons back and forth to one another.
