Your nervous system may be stuck in ALERT mode - if this happens to us as moms, we see the next problem, fear or worry and go into FIGHT or FLIGHT reactions!

๐ŸŒบ If things feel chaotic today, breathe before reacting.

Did you know that the pace of your breath tells your brain whether you are in danger or not? Take a deep exhale breath - let out the tension - then react and respond to whatever you are facing with calmness and clarity!

When I read this...I thought it was written for me! I definitely struggle with juggling being a good enough mom and pleasing God. Matthew Kelly (a dad of 5 from Dynamic Catholic ) has written some of my favorite Christian books and this quote speaks right to my heart!

I do not need to be enough. God is always enough. He needs me to trust in Him fully and surrender my worries to Him.
