You can schedule for your child to be vaccinated at our office! We are now apart of the VFC (Vaccines for Children) Program!
What does this mean?
Your children may be able to get no-cost through CDC’s Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program at our office (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2024).
The vaccines offered through the VFC Program protect children from these preventable diseases:
Varicella (chickenpox), Polio, Measles, Mumps, Diptheria, Hepatitis A&B, Human Papillomavirus (HPV), Pneumococcal, Influenza (flu), Dengue, Tetanus (lockjaw), Rotavirus, RSV, Rubella (German Measles), Harmophilus influenza type b (Hib), Pertussis (whooping cough).
There is no cost for the vaccines given by VFC Program providers to eligible children. However, an administration fee may apply, not greater than $10.
You do not need proof of your child’s eligibility, but we are required to ask and document if your child is on Medicaid or Medicaid eligible, if your child has any health insurance, if the insurance covers vaccines, and if your child is of American Indian or Alaskan Native Heritage.
Children eligible for the VFC Program 18 years or younger who meet at least one requirements:
-American Indian or Alaska Native
-Medicaid eligible
-Uninsured
-Underinsured
