Luka has been diagnosed with SCID, severe combined immunodeficiency, a very rare genetic disorder that causes life threatening problems with the immune system rendering Luka's immune system completely defenseless against any and all infection, virus, etc. Without treatment, babies are not likely to survive past their first birthday. We are asking for your help to find a match and donor for sweet baby Luka by signing up through MY.BETHEMATCH.ORG. Donors need to be between the ages of 18-40 and after filing out a few demographic questions you will receive a mouth swab kit in the mail in 1-2 weeks and you will be entered into the data base as a donor!
