I literally have the best clients. All of my clients and their births hold a special place in my heart. I just finished a 28hr work day, yes it was long, but it was absolutely beautiful.

And in the end, we are all the same. We are grieving mamas, missing our babies, thinking of the “what ifs,” and wishing things were different. This month (and everyday), we remember all of our babies that are no longer here. 🤍🪽

Next month is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month.
If you’ve ever had a loss, any kind of loss, stillbirth, early miscarriage, infant loss, you know the depth of this pain.

I stand with you. I’ve been there too, I’m still there, it still cuts deep.

When I was pregnant with my rainbow baby, I felt scared carrying after such a great loss. I wondered if my body would fail me again.. Anxiety flooded my body, I was scared to get too attached to my new growing baby, there were a mixture of emotions. I got through it, we made it, and he’s almost 3.

I’m here to tell you that after every storm, there IS a rainbow. It’s scary, but you’ll get through it. 🌈☀️

My favorite part about being a doula is educating.

It goes such a long way. Someone learns, then that person passes it onto someone, and that person will then tell someone, and it goes on and on. It's such a beautiful thing!

As your doula, I am fully equipped to make sure ALL of my clients feel safe and are at peace . I can now do CPR on you or your baby in the case of an emergency. I am legally trained to deliver a baby in the case of an emergency (if baby comes quickly and your midwife is on her way). I will never take the place or role of a midwife, this is an emergency case ONLY!

We hope and pray it never comes to that. However, I do want you and your family to feel 100% secure with me as your doula.

Doula work has my heart and I am so proud to serve families in my community!

My local and FAVORITE hospital has now given a badge to doulas that have gone through a specific training with the hospital. This badge allows for easier access into the hospital and into the OR with the client (if needed).

Hospitals are slowly becoming more welcoming of doulas and the services we offer to women. They are recognizing the importance of their patients having a doula. We all have one goal, right? And that is to have a happy and healthy mama and safe delivery for the baby.

I am now equipped with the knowledge and skills on how to manage an emergency delivery!

I am now certified with Tampa General Hospital to support you IN the OR and in the recovery room if you have a planned cesarean or an emergency cesarean!

I can help with emotional and mental support for you and your partner while you’re in the OR. I can help you have skin to skin with your baby as soon as *possible* and with breastfeeding.
