Why I combine a facelift with a neck lift
Two simple reasons:

The platysma is continuous from face to neck—treating both together restores the whole contour (cheek → jawline → neck) in one balanced lift.

We can lift higher and remove redundancy, which improves longevity and sharpens the cervicomental angle.

Incisions curve around the ear (and a small one under the chin when needed), with tension placed on the deeper layer—not the skin—for natural results.

Facelift Before and After

One of my favorite patients came to me after significant weight loss bothered by the heaviness in her neck. She’d been offered radiofrequency microneedling elsewhere, but she knew better true descent and neck laxity needed surgery. I performed a deep plane facelift and neck lift to restore her contour.
She looks amazing and is thrilled and so are we!

Here Pati is Postop Day 7, after we performed a deep plane facelift and neck lift, CO₂ laser resurfacing, buccal fat removal, and fat grafting to the face. The redness from the Co2 laser has improved dramatically. Her Jawline and neck are snatched. At Postop Day 7 though you still have to take it easy to allow your body to heal from the inside.

Here she is Postop Day 1 after we performed a deep plane facelift and neck lift, CO₂ laser resurfacing, buccal fat removal, and fat grafting to the face. The redness is from the Co2 laser. Early definition is already visible; swelling and bruising will increase over the next few days (that’s normal).

Upper and lower eyelid surgery can make a dramatic impact — especially when combined with other carefully chosen treatments. In this case, I also performed a rare festoon excision due to significant skin redundancy in the right lower lid/cheek junction. Festoons are challenging and not addressed with standard blepharoplasty, but in select patients, surgical excision is the most effective option.

I also finished the case with a TCA chemical peel to tighten and smooth the surrounding skin, improving fine lines and texture. The result? A more rested, refreshed look without changing her natural appearance.
