"I have carried in my heart the unshed tears of grief
that drove me wild and utterly alone.
One day, they filled my depths with dawn,
whose light spills from the faraway sun.
When night fell, the stars began swimming in the sea,
where darkness arrived with footprints in black.

A thunder arose, as if this night and I were in battle.
Finally, the clouds dissolved,
and the moon came out with a smile.
In its light, I found the raging fire dying into peace.
This is the light swimming through the countless storms.
This is freedom in dark and dawn.
This is the song of every soul unchained."
