I’ve been enjoying allowing clients move freely with the cups attached and I’m noticing effective results, here’s why:

Listen, no one is perfect. Not even your massage therapist. I’ll admit to my clients that I also need to implement these practices more so, but the reminders are always necessary. Let’s start 👇🏼

👉🏻 Mobility & Strengthening
The phrases “movement is medicine” and “if you don’t use it you lose it” stand true. Our bodies are cocooned in a web like structure called fascia. It thrives on movement and is much stronger than you think. If one area of the body is stagnant, then it will cause a chain-like reaction and affect other areas as well.

👉🏻 Hydration
Your connective tissue is either in a gel state (stuck/hard) or a sol state (fluid/soft). It is preferred for it to be more fluid and easy to work with. We want gliding joints in the areas that need gliding and muscles being properly being repaired after being overworked/torn. H2O plus electrolytes is a great combination to make sure this is all happening effectively.
- p.s all you need to do is add a pinch of high quality salt to your water to achieve your electrolyte intake. Do this daily!

👉🏻 Rest
There are those who are “busy” and those who are “busy-bodies”. There is a difference between being productive in a healthy manner vs doing unrelated tasks as a filler. There’s a time to rest and there’s a time to work and do better. Practice on finding that structure.
