Come join me in August for the Monthly Mat Pilates class! This month, the date has been changed to Thursday, August 15th, to allow those returning to a school schedule a little more flexibility that first week back to school.

The monthly class offers an opportunity to continue working towards your health and fitness goals amidst crazy schedules. It is also an excellent way for those who have undergone pelvic floor therapy treatment to find motivation in their home exercise programs! Each class will include general concepts from pelvic floor therapy, such as core and hip strengthening, spinal mobility, and intra-abdominal pressure control.

Thank you to those who joined me for The Pelvic Blend Workshop! I love sharing with others about pelvic health and the pelvic floor and had so much fun this week doing so!

While pelvic floor therapy is becoming more widely known and talked about than ever before, it still remains a mystery to so many people and FYI... everyone has a pelvic floor! Leaking urine, constipation, prolapse (a bulge in the va**na or re**um), hernia, getting the strong sensation to p*e when you hear the sound of running water, p*eing frequently, experiencing pelvic, low back pain, or hip pain are just some of the many reasons to seek care from a pelvic floor therapist.

I also got the chance to share about the role of Pilates in pelvic health. After experiencing this workshop, I think everyone can agree that Pilates is wayyy more fun and effective at working the pelvic floor than doing Kegels alone. Not to mention, most of the patients we see in pelvic floor therapy shouldn't really be doing Kegels 🤯
