Dr. Jorge Malouf is a first generation Guatemalan-American whoโ€™s family came to America to start a new life. Raised by 2 nurses, he found a tremendous passion for helping patients. He attended The Johns Hopkins University where he majored in Molecular And Cellular Biology and minored in psychology. Afterwards, he achieved his medical degree at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine where he graduated in the top of his class. After multiple mission trips across Central and South America, he was inspired to seek a residency in Ophthalmology at Larkin Hospital in Miami, Florida. Once completed, he traveled to Oklahoma City to help the underserved community there while finishing a Global Ophthalmology Fellowship which was catered to helping the underserved communities here and abroad.
