The Beach Art Center is hosting the May edition of the Gaia Kids Club, and it’s basically a dream come true for our local IRB nature lovers. This isn't just an art class—it’s a full-on exploration of the natural world through movement, storytelling, and hands-on creativity.

The Theme: Butterflies!
This month, the focus is all about our fluttering friends. Your kiddos will dive into the world of butterflies while sparking a genuine love for Mother Earth. It’s the perfect Sunday afternoon activity to burn off some energy while learning something cool.
The Details

• Who: Ages 5–10 (All skill levels welcome!)
• When: Sunday, May 17, 2026 | 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
• Where: Beach Art Center (1515 Bay Palm Blvd, Indian Rocks Beach)
• Cost: $20 for the first child / $10 for each additional sibling
◦ Note: Your sibling discount code will be emailed right after you grab the first ticket!
Why we love it:

Not only do the kids get to be creative, but all proceeds are donated directly to support our beloved Beach Art Center. It’s a win for your kids and a win for our local arts community.

As a parent, I often speak from my experience raising my son. But autism is not only about childhood. It’s about supporting, respecting, and listening to autistic people at every stage of life. 💙

✨ Day 6 of Autism Awareness Month.

I’m going to be honest…

This is something I didn’t fully understand!

When my sons were diagnosed, it was always
“high functioning” or “low functioning.”

Now, we talk about levels of support — and honestly, it makes so much more sense.

👉 Because it’s not about labels…
It’s about what someone actually needs.

💙 Level 1: Needs support
🧡 Level 2: Needs substantial support
💛 Level 3: Needs very substantial support

And even then…

👉 Those needs can change.

We grow. We learn. We adapt.

💙 And we keep showing up for our kids exactly where they are.
