Get ready, sky lovers September 2025 is about to deliver two of the year’s most breathtaking celestial events!

First, on September 7, the Moon will slip completely into Earth’s shadow, giving us a Total Lunar Eclipse better known as a Blood Moon.

As sunlight filters through Earth’s atmosphere, the Moon will glow in deep shades of red and copper. This eerie beauty is safe to watch with the naked eye, but it’s best viewed under clear, dark skies for maximum drama.

Then, just two weeks later on September 21, the Moon will partially cover the Sun, creating a Partial Solar Eclipse. It will look as if a cosmic bite has been taken from our star, casting crescent-shaped shadows and transforming the light in strange, beautiful ways.

This event is not safe to view without proper protection use certified eclipse glasses, solar filters, or a pinhole projector to enjoy it safely.

With these two spectacular eclipses just days apart, September will be a month for the astronomy books perfect for photographers, stargazers, and anyone who wants to witness the cosmic dance of the Sun, Moon, and Earth.
