Tampa Bay Radiation Oncology (TBRO)- Featuring Cyberknife, formed in 2003, is a locally owned and physician managed organization committed to providing experienced, state of the art cancer treatments in a caring and professional manner. We practice in four free standing clinics, strategically located throughout the Tampa Bay Area to offer convenience to patients with the state of the art planning capabilities offered at other major academic cancer centers across the country. With TBRO patients can receive cutting edge cancer care at home with support of family and friends. At TBRO we believe in a team approach to work with other cancer specialists in the Tampa Bay Area to coordinate our patients' care and provide the best cancer care possible. Our patients l receive their unique treatment, in the manner they expect, without having to travel away from home. We believe in early detection through cancer screening programs and educating the community through our involvement and support at community events. Our physicians practice evidence-based medicine, keeping current with the latest research and treatment advances. Computers have revolutionized the way in which cancer can be treated, therefore we have been incorporating the latest innovations into our practice as they come on line each year. We were the first free standing facility in the Tampa Bay Area to offer: Cyberknife, IMRT and IGRT, Leipzig and Valencia, and the most experienced and successful in MammoSite, Prostate and Leipzig treatments.
