South Tampa Immediate Care is a walk in urgent care clinic staffed by board-certified doctors who treat patients ages 2 years and older for a variety of illnesses and injuries including sore throat, colds and flu, sinus infections, asthma, UTIs, eye/ear problems, sprains, lacerations and broken bones. We have on-site x-ray and offer seasonal flu shots as well as school, sports and employment physicals.

Just because it feels hot doesn’t mean the UV rays are at their worst! UV rays (which cause skin damage and increase cancer risk) are invisible and don’t come with heat — that warmth you’re feeling? That’s from infrared rays!

🌞 UV rays are actually strongest when the sun is highest in the sky — usually between 11am and 3pm.

📱 Check your weather app for the UV index (3 or higher = time to protect your skin!)

⏰ Pro tip: Later in the day is often just as warm but with lower UV risk.
